ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an extremely dedicated individual to join our team as a Video Editor. In this position, we are looking for a video editor for YouTube videos and short-form videos such as reels and shorts..
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Meeting with the content team to determine the production vision
- Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
- Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
- Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
- Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
- Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence
- Consulting with the content team throughout the project
- Make high-quality thumbnails for every video you edit
- Make reels/shorts out of YouTube videos
- Editing videos for YouTube
- Podcasts editing
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience as a YouTube video editor
- Demonstrable video editing skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency with at least 3 tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Adobe After Effect, Final Cut etc.)
- A strong eye for visual composition
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
- Understanding of marketing, production, graphic design, corporate identity, advertisements
- Knowledge of English: at least B2
